Anise Fruit Bread

Serves 4-6

3 Cups Bisquick Buttermilk Baking Mix
1 1/4 Cups Milk
3/4 Teaspoon Anise Extract
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Mixed Candied Fruit
1/3 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Coarsly Chopped Walnuts or Pecans
1 Individual Egg

Process Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix Bisquick, sugar, flour,egg, and milk. Beat vigorously with a spoon 1/2 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter into
a greased 9X5X3 loaf pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before removing from pan. Cool thoroughly before slicing.
