Deep Dish Apple Pie

4-6 ea Sliced Apples
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Water
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Butter
1 Pie Crust

Line sides only a deep baking dish with a strip of pastry rolled 1/4 inch thick adjusting to so pastry comes within 1/2 inch on bottom and extends over rim as for pie. Fill with apples. Combine sugar and spices and sprinkle over apples. Add water and dust with butter. Roll rest of dough. Cut slits for steam to excape. Bake 450 degress for 15 min.
