Ingredients:
1 Package Dry Yeast
2 Teaspoons Sugar
2 1/2 Cups Milk
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Shortening
5 Cups Flour
Process:
Scald the milk, remove from stove, and add shortening and sugar. When cool add yeast that has been dissolved in water and the flour and salt that has been sifted together. Beat the mixture and let rise until double. Beat again and fill muffin pans 1/3 full. Let rise again until double. Bake 20 minutes in a moderate oven.
