Dairy Queen Copycat Ice Cream Cake


Chef Jimi Penti shares from his recipe collection: Ice Cream Cake (DQ Copycat) Ingredients:

Cake
2 1/2 Cups Crushed Oreas
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 - 1/2 Gallon Chocolate Ice Cream (Slightly Softened)
1/4 - 1/2 Gallon Vanilla Ice Cream (Slightly Softened)
8 ounces of Cool Whip

Hot Fudge Sauce
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
2/3 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
12 ounce Can of Evaporated Milk
1 Stick Butter
1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Process:
Combine Oreos with Butter & Sugar, and press into 9x13 pan. Freeze for 15 Minutes.
Spread layer of each Ice Crean on top and Freeze for 3 Hours.
Make the Hot Fudge Sauce by combining all ingredients except Vanilla and boil for 8 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in Vanilla. Spoon sauce on Ice Cram and freeze until firm.
Spread Cool Whip on top, sprinkle Oreo crumbs on top, and freeze for 3 Hours.
