Pecan Nut Roll

Serves 6-8

3 Cups Sugar
1 Tablespoon White Corn Syrup
1 1/2 Cups Cold Milk
1 Tablespoon Butter
18 Individual Dates
1/2 Pint Pecans

Cook sugar, syrup, and milk until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Add other ingredients and beat until thick. Place on a wet towel or wax paper, roll tightly, and leave until cool. Slice to serve.
