Pecan Rolls

PrepTime 90 Minutes
Serves 8-10

1 Package Dry Yeast
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Warm Water
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Scalded Milk
2 Individual Eggs
1/3 Cup Margarine
1 Cup Oatmeal
4 Cups Flour

Soften yeast in warm water. Pour milk, sugar, and salt over the softened yeast. Heat margarine and stir until melted. Cool to margarine to lukewarm and beat in 1 cup of flour. Add 2 eggs, softened yeast, and oatmeal. Beat in enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured surface and knead until setting (about 10 minutes). Round dough into a ball, place in greased bowl, and brush lightly with melted shortening. Cover and let rise in a warm place.
