Round Steak Saurbrauten

Serves 5-6

1 1/2 Pounds Round Steak 1/2 inch thick
1 Tbsp Fat
1 pkg Brown Gravy Mix
2 Cups Water
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Instant Mixed Onion
2 Tbsp White Vinegar
1/4 tsp Pepper (or less)
1/2 tsp Ginger
3 ea Bay Leaves
1 pkg Egg Noodles (buttered)

Cut Meat into 1 inch squares. In large skillet brown meat in hot fat. Remove meat from skillet, add gravy mix with water. Bring to boil. Sir constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles. Return meat to skillet and cover. Simmer 1 1/2-2 hours depending on toughness of steak. Remove Bay Leaves, Serve over noodles.
