Strawberry Pie (A Lockhart Family Recipe)
Ingredients:
1 Pre-Baked Pie Crust
1 Quart Strawberries
4 Tablespoons Strawberry Jello Powder
1 Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons White Karo Corn Syrup
3 Tablespoons Corn Starch
1 Cup Cold Water
2 Drops Red Food Coloring
Process:
Mix together the Water, Sugar, Corn Starch, and Karo. Cook over medium heat until clear. Remove from heat. Add Strawberry Jello Powder and Red Food Coloring. Cool slightly. Add Strawberries and stir to cover. Pour mixture into cooled Crust. Cover with whipped cream.
